Preview a Problem Set

1
Browse and preview a Problem Set

Problem Sets are short, targeted practice sessions focused on a specific skill or topic. Previewing one lets you check the questions before sending it to students.

The Problem Sets page inside a program — toggle between EdisonOS Library and My Library using the switcher at the top.

  1. In the left sidebar, click on a program — for example SAT or ACT.
  2. A dropdown will appear. Click on Problem Sets.
  3. The main area on the right shows all available Problem Sets. By default you are viewing the EdisonOS Library. Use the dropdown at the top to switch to My Library to see your custom content.
  4. Click on any Problem Set to open it.
  5. Review the topic, difficulty, and question types to confirm it fits your students' needs.
You are not assigning anything yet — this is just a preview. Use this step to explore what is available before committing to an assignment.

Preview a Practice Test

2
Browse and preview a Practice Test

Practice Tests are full-length or sectional exams that simulate real test conditions. Previewing one lets you verify its structure, timing, and question coverage before assigning.

The Practice Tests section — full-length and sectional tests from the EdisonOS Library, ready to preview or assign.

  1. In the left sidebar, click on your program — for example SAT or ACT.
  2. From the dropdown, click on Practice Tests.
  3. The main area shows all available Practice Tests. Use the EdisonOS Library dropdown at the top to browse pre-built, verified full-length tests.
  4. Click on any Practice Test to open it.
  5. Review the sections, question count, total time, and question types to confirm the test matches the exam format you want to simulate.
Practice Tests from the EdisonOS Library are pre-built and verified. You do not need to create anything from scratch to get started.

Assign a Practice Test or Problem Set

3
Assign content to your students

Once you have previewed a Practice Test or Problem Set, assigning it takes only a few clicks. The process is identical for both content types.

Each Practice Test and Problem Set card has an Assign button. Click it to open the assignment dialog.

  1. Navigate to Practice Tests or Problem Sets inside your program.
  2. Find the item you want to assign. Click the Assign button on its card.
  3. In the assignment dialog, fill in the following:
    • Student or group — select who will receive the assignment
    • Due date — set a deadline if required
  4. Click Confirm to send the assignment.
  5. The student receives a notification and can access the test from their dashboard immediately.

After confirming, the assignment appears on the student's dashboard instantly.

You can assign the same test to multiple students or a whole group at once. Use the group selector in the assignment dialog to save time with a full class.

View student Reports

4
Review how students performed

Once students complete their assignments, results are available instantly. Scoring is automatic — no manual grading.

Reports inside a program — filter by student or test, then click a result to open the full breakdown.

  1. In the left sidebar, click on your program — for example SAT or ACT.
  2. From the dropdown, click on Reports.
  3. You will see all completed tests and problem sets for students in that program. Filter by student name or test name to find what you need.
  4. Click on any result row to open the full breakdown:
    • Overall score and section-level scores
    • Time taken per section
    • Question-by-question view — correct and incorrect answers highlighted
    • Weak area summary — topics that need more practice
  5. Use the weak area data to decide which Problem Set to assign next for targeted remediation.

The individual result view — scores, time taken, and a question-by-question breakdown with weak-area analysis.

Reports are scoped per program. To see SAT results open Reports inside the SAT program; for ACT results, switch to the ACT program.

Explore the Console App

5
Manage your academies and billing

The Console App is a separate management layer where you handle billing, subscriptions, and the creation of additional academy apps. Your academy app — where you assign tests, manage students, and view reports — runs independently per subscription.

The Go to Console App button sits at the bottom of the left sidebar in your academy app.

  1. At the bottom of the left sidebar in your academy app, click Go to Console App.
  2. The Console App opens. From here you can:
    • Manage billing and subscriptions for each of your academies
    • Create a new academy app — each academy is independent with its own programs, students, and reports
    • Monitor the status of all your academies from one place
  3. To return to your academy, use the Console's academy switcher.

The Console App — manage billing, subscriptions, and create or switch between multiple academy apps.

If a subscription for an academy expires, access to that academy app will end. Keep billing up to date in the Console to avoid interruption to your programs.
You are all set.

You have completed the five core actions in EdisonOS — previewed content, assigned a test, reviewed student results, and explored the Console. Everything else in the platform builds on these same foundations.
